- Submission A short article of at most 3,000 words that addresses a single theoretical question
- Pre-review Fit with the scope, the format and the style rules; similarity check
- Review Double-anonymous review by two reviewers
- Decision The editor-in-chief decides after consulting the Advisory Board; first decision within three weeks
- Publication Continuous publication under CC BY 4.0, free and open access
