Articles published in Babble are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence. The licence permits the reproduction, distribution and adaptation of an article in any medium for non-commercial purposes, provided that the original work is properly cited. Authors retain the copyright of their articles.

Images of artworks and other third-party material reproduced in the articles are not covered by this licence; their use requires the permission of the rights holders.

The journal charges authors no fee for the submission, review or publication of an article.
