Open Access Policy

Open access

TJPL is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely available to read, download, and share immediately upon publication, with no subscription or registration required. This policy maximises the visibility, reach, and impact of the research the journal publishes and supports the global exchange of knowledge.

 

Copyright and licensing

Authors retain the copyright of their work. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). Under this licence, anyone is free to copy, redistribute, adapt, and build upon the published work in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes are indicated. The full terms are available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.

 

Article-processing charges

TJPL is a diamond open-access journal: it levies no article-processing charges and no submission fees. There is no cost to authors to submit, to be reviewed, or to publish, and no cost to readers to access the published work.

 

Self-archiving

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their article — the submitted manuscript, the accepted manuscript, and the version of record — in institutional or subject repositories and on personal or institutional websites, with no embargo, citing the version of record by its DOI.

 

Digital preservation

To ensure the long-term availability of its content, the journal preserves its published articles through a recognised digital-preservation service. Persistent identifiers (DOIs) are registered for every article so that the version of record remains discoverable and citable.
