Author Guidelines

CODE publishes in English and Turkish. Before submitting, read the Aims and scope, the Article types and, for artefact papers and reproduction reports, the Product package standard.

Manuscript

  • Title, abstract (150–250 words) and 4–6 keywords in both English and Turkish. Authors who do not write Turkish may submit an English abstract only; the journal provides the Turkish one.
  • Length as given for each article type; references, tables and appendices are not counted.
  • References in APA 7th edition, in the Roman alphabet; give DOIs as full https://doi.org/ links.
  • Figures and tables numbered, with captions; images at least 300 dpi, with permission where needed.
  • For anonymized review, the manuscript and the product files carry no author names, affiliations or identifying metadata; self-citations are written in the third person.

Authors

  • Every author gives an ORCID iD and an affiliation with city and country.
  • The first author of a research article (including artefact papers and short articles) holds a doctorate. Teachers and counsellors without a doctorate may be first authors of field and workshop reports, and co-authors of every type.

  • Ethics approval (committee, date, decision number) or the reason none was needed
  • Funding
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Author contributions
  • Use of generative AI
  • Data and product availability
