Open Access Policy
The Journal of Discourse, Culture & Society (JDCS) is a diamond open-access journal. All articles are freely and immediately available to read, download, and share upon publication, with no charges of any kind to authors or readers. There are no submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or subscription requirements.
Licensing and Copyright
Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, others may copy, distribute, remix, and build upon the work in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source. Authors retain full copyright of their work, with no restrictions.
Rationale
JDCS is committed to the principle that publicly relevant scholarship should be openly available. Diamond open access removes financial barriers for both authors and readers, ensuring that the ability to publish or to access research does not depend on institutional wealth or geographic location. This model supports equitable participation in scholarly communication across the global research community.
Archiving and Preservation
The journal is committed to the long-term digital preservation of its content. Published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and are archived to ensure continued access in the event that the journal ceases publication.
