Every article must include a "Data and Code Availability" section. Data and code are shared in an open repository, and the persistent link is given in this section. Where data cannot be shared because of personal data, the confidentiality of legal files or copyright, the reason is explained in the same section, and the way the data were collected, their size and their characteristics are described in detail.
Repositories
Authors may use Zenodo, OSF, TROLLing (The Tromsø Repository of Language and Linguistics), CLARIN centres or institutional data repositories. The repository should give the dataset a persistent link (a DOI or equivalent). Datasets are cited in the reference list.
Personal and sensitive data
Corpora containing personal data (social media, messaging, forensic texts, etc.) are anonymized in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698. In data excerpts quoted in the article, personal information is masked in square brackets: [NAME], [CITY], [PHONE]. Texts from ongoing judicial proceedings are not published without the permission of the relevant authority.
AI outputs
In studies where model outputs are the object of research, the model name, version, date of use and prompts are shared in a supplementary file (see the Artificial Intelligence Policy).
