Artsürem Journals Platform
Publishing policies
An article is assessed against the same criteria whichever journal publishes it. All journals set out these principles in detail in their own policies.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made by the journal’s editors; neither the publisher nor the platform has a say in them.
Peer review
Research articles undergo double-anonymized peer review; every article is read by at least two independent reviewers.
Conflicts of interest
A submission by an editor or board member is handled by another editor. Articles by editors and board members make up no more than a quarter of any issue.
Publication ethics
We follow COPE’s principles. Plagiarism, fabricated data, authorship misconduct and abuse of peer review are investigated; where necessary, a correction or retraction is published.
Open access and licensing
Articles are free for everyone to read from the day they are published. The licence is stated on the journal’s site and in the article itself.
Fees
Readers never pay. Author fees are stated openly, and no fee is charged for publication after acceptance.
Metadata
Authors are identified by ORCID iDs and institutions by ROR IDs. Every article has an English title, abstract and keywords, and Turkish-language articles have them in Turkish too. Records are open to libraries through OAI-PMH.
Artificial intelligence
AI tools cannot be authors, and their use is disclosed. Reviewers do not upload the manuscripts they review to such tools.
Personal data
Author and reviewer data are processed only for the publication process, in line with Türkiye’s personal data protection law (KVKK).
Indexing
We list only indexes whose records are publicly available, and we use no metric that cannot be verified.
Appeals and complaints
Appeals and complaints go first to the journal’s editorial office; if the matter is not resolved there, write to bilgi@artsurem.tr.
